Another busy month here at IWT
I kicked things off with a little downtime. I took a vacation in Puerto Rico, where this was my view for a few days:
When I was there, I hiked to a waterfall. Once I made it, I high-fived with my group since it was a pretty tough hike. Then…we saw a 70-year-old grandmother who’d carried her 1-MONTH-OLD GRANDSON on the same trail. Now, I’m officially retired from hiking.
Speaking of retiring, this is me imitating an elderly person with arthritis getting up from their recliner at a private event in NYC for Zero To Launch Accelerator members. Sometimes you have to get into character to really teach.
Meanwhile, the entire month crazy emails kept rolling in:

Happening on the blog
IWT gives back. Help us build schools for children around the world
We launched a campaign to build schools for underprivileged children around the world. So far, we’ve raised a total of $301,135 from 1,520 donations. In fact, we’ve already raised enough to build 12 schools.
We’ve surpassed our goal of $300,000!
And it’s all thanks to you and the IWT Community. I’m blown away by your generosity.
REJECTED: Guy at farmers’ market shuts me down
The lessons I learned from a guy selling t-shirts at a farmers’ market. This was the first in an all new series of posts about the fascinating world of business.
The companies that know us better than we know ourselves
What seems like a dumb business idea to you and me is actually MUCH more sophisticated. Instead of being quick to judge, we dive deep beneath the surface to see what’s really going on.
Stop wasting time on minor life decisions
It’s time to stop deliberating and make a decision. This applies for 99% of us who are swamped with FB messages, texts, Snapchats, IG photos, and deciding which book to buy. (The 100+ comments alone on this posts are worth their weight in digital internet gold).
How to be confident
Confidence is a skill, and like any other skill it can mastered with a few simple techniques. To prove it to you, I showed you one of the most dramatic changes in confidence I’ve ever seen.
How to break bad habits
Do you want to stop procrastinating, eating junk food, or spending money? Here’s a 5-step system that guarantees you follow through on your goals.

From making $8.50 an hour to running a six-figure business
My student Julia Kelly of JK Expressions is featured on Business Inside with her story of going from minimum wage to $100k as a caricature artist. Great work, Julia! Check out the awesome caricature that Julia did of me:

How Selena went from a $42,000 salary to running a business that earns $300,000 a year
A great profile on my friend and student Selena Soo, who went from earning $42,000 at a non-profit to grossing over $300,000 in her coaching business last year. Awesome work, Selena.
My AMA (Ask Me Anything) on Reddit
I was pretty nervous about doing this since I read reddit every day, and I had no idea what kind of questions might come my way. I ended up answering tons of questions on everything from self-development to psychology to marketing to personal finance and careers. Despite some strange questions, it turned out to be a lot of fun!
Be sure to check out the thread for some behind-the-scenes answers to questions I’ve never revealed before.
We have even more exciting things headed your way soon — including exclusive all new material on online businesses. This is material I’ve never released publicly before (but have been testing with the IWT team for years). Stay tuned!
