I’d prefer a tweet from my bank when my checking balance falls below $XXX. Heck, a timely email will do too. I tried to set MINT up to do this but those alerts come out so late as to be pointless. And since FEES drive Banks’ behavior, I won’t hold my breath that they’ll implement such a thing any time soon. Any other options?

Call me old fashioned, but I don’t understand the point of twitter… maybe I just haven’t spent enough time there to figure it out. All I see is a bunch of one liners but no story behind it.

I like to see my balances. I get mad when I’m in debt. I just focus that anger towards my debt and it helps me pay it off quicker.

‘Course my wife always thinks I’m mad at her, but she gets over it.

I used to be worried about opening up my credit card bills. Now that I think about; that was the dumbest thing. I was afraid of being accountable for my actions.
I completely understand the woman holding her ear away from the phone. I feel less stress not having credit card debt.
