That's a good question. The truth is everyone isn't into RSS/syndication. In fact, most people don't even know what RSS is. So the newsletter--which is sent over email to people who opt in--helps people remember to check back to IWillTeachYouToBeRich and see what's new.

How come you are releasing a newsletter and not using a blog post or creating a seperate 'newsletterish' type blog? Something that can be syndicated?

I only ask because the idea of newsletters over RSS feeds seems to be a step backwards. That's the type of content I want to see in an 'on demand' basis, not something filling up a productvity tool like email.

Not very often--about 2 times in the last 2 months. Beyond a list of what new articles I've written, I started adding links to sites I've read. Sometimes they talk about personal finance explicitly, or sometimes they're just tangentially related. I'm going to be adding some more stuff to upcoming newsletters, too, so it's up to you...

PS--If you have any ideas of what you'd like to see, let me know.
