I'm all for action too. I love this comment by Derek Sivers in regards to new business ideas and the importance of taking action/executing on the idea:

"It's so funny when I hear people being so protective of ideas. (People who want me to sign an NDA to tell me the simplest idea.)

To me, ideas are worth nothing unless executed. They are just a multiplier. Execution is worth millions.

Explanation:

* Awful idea = -1
* Weak idea = 1
* So-so idea = 5
* Good idea = 10
* Great idea = 15
* Brilliant idea = 20

* No execution = $1
* Weak execution = $1000
* So-so execution = $10,000
* Good execution = $100,000
* Great execution = $1,000,000
* Brilliant execution = $10,000,000

To make a business, you need to multiply the two.

The most brilliant idea, with no execution, is worth $20. The most brilliant idea takes great execution to be worth $20,000,000.

That's why I don't want to hear people's ideas. I'm not interested until I see their execution." —Derek Sivers

What would you say to those who have bought your book but have yet to read it? Is this boot camp suitable for those people?

i.e. Is it required/recommended that we finish your book first?
Or, what if we read the book as we go along in the boot camp?

Hi Ramit - how come you don't show the cost of the bootcamp either in this blog post or at the /bootcamp link?

Yeah, I always talk about automating and optimizing to get the habits right (i.e., it's important to get the habits right before you have $100k in the bank). I wish I'd had something this tactical in college without all the unnecessary BS like estate-planning (who cares?). Plus, we'll be discussing entrepreneurship each week, and college was the best time for me to start companies. Overall, though, you'll get the most out of this if you're already earning income. Thanks for the question, Danny.

How is your program geared towards current college students. I'm a freshman in college right now, I don't have any bills except for small loans, I don't have a credit card, I don't own a car. Would this program be beneficial at all to people like me?
