Hey guys, quick favor to ask. I might give a talk at SXSW (a big nerd fest where basically everybody in tech goes to Austin to attend a huge sausage-fest conference and drink a lot).
This time, I’ve cooked up a new presentation: Building a Million-Dollar Business
I’ll be taking people deep behind-the-scenes at how I’ve built IWT from a blog I created in my dorm room to a business generating millions of dollars.
I’ll be sharing real tests I’ve used, real data, and positioning strategies I’ve never shared before.
One thing I want to ask is for a quick vote. If you think this would be useful (and hopefully, if you’d like to attend), can you take 60 second to vote for my proposal here?

If I’m selected, I’ll share some of the material with you.
Thanks for the help. I’ve been making a special effort to get out and speak about all the things I’ve learned in the hopes that it can help you avoid the mistakes I made, and learn from the successes I’ve been fortunate to have — mostly thanks to the awesome community of IWT readers.
Voting will close on Friday, August 31, so please don’t save this for later.
Here’s the link to vote again: http://panelpicker.sxsw.com/vote/4516
Thanks so much.

Ha! I loved the video! I know people who believe once you pay off your car you’re supposed to get a new one. They all need to be bitch slapped!
I just voted for you. Good luck! I’m sure you will win and rock it out!
Would you be willing or able to post the talk on the blog?
No, I won’t post the entire thing here. That’s reserved for people who come. But I may post a very short excerpt.
I voted for you Ramit! Although my name didn’t display, so I am Mystery Lady
I would go just to see a glimpse of your face.
Being honest, this would be a product I would invest in, if you put it up for real.
I am at the point where I am improving freelancing income, at the point where I am optimizing what I do with MY time. However, I know that I could scale my time and help more people by delving what I do into products. However, looking at the myriad of products and ideas of what is important, I feel way too lost to start up a real good launch that is as qualitatively successful as the product should be.
Dude,
Ramit I don’t believe your business has made a million dollars and I’ve been reading your stuff for years. I would like to see some posted proof.
Thanks,
James
You scare me Michael
Haha. Ok
