Dan Portnoy and Tim Grahl were nice enough to interview me for their Business Opportunities Podcast last week. Here’s some of what you’ll hear in the podcast:
5:53 — Who am I to say I will teach you to be rich?
7:12 — There’s no secret to getting Rich
8:30 — What does being Rich mean?
10:00 — Dan and I mock those stupid stock suggestions we get by email
10:35 — After you figure out what Rich is, what then?
11:00 — I plug my own 1-hour talks (more info: seminars.iwillteachyoutoberich.com)
11:58 — Growth through different types of investments
12:27 — The single most important part of getting Rich (I meant to say “bad decisions,” not “decisions,” oops)
13:15 — I give some advice for entrepreneurs on personal finance, finding mentors, and more

I just listened to it. Pretty cool.
I like how you pointed out that people are always looking for that next "big idea." My mom is always bothering me to make the next Myspace, as if these great ideas are just so easily available. I've had some great ideas in the past, but they usually come to me when I'm NOT trying to think of one. It's just pure inspiration when Life decides to give it to me.

Jonathan I couldn't agree more. If I had a dollar for every time I hear that "next Myspace" pitch I'd be loaded. My favorite response is that Myspace isn't paying for itself and losing money daily. As an entrepreneur, consistency in direction plays such a huge part as the ideas are flowing. I now carry post its or leave messages for myself to make sure I don't forget.
Ramit it was a pleasure.
