I’m one of your “grannies,” so the book wasn’t written with me in mind. I bought it anyway (in the Kindle edition), mostly to see if I could win a free Kindle. Well, I started perusing it, and before I knew it I had read it all the way through in two days. I’ve lived my financial life exactly in the manner Ramit describes, and I’m here to tell you, it works! I’ve never made enough money to have to give any back, but by “paying myself first” and living below my means, I can now enjoy a very comfortable semi-retirement and lots of “guilt-free” splurging on tech gadgets. Listen to what this man says, children. He’s 100% right. About everything. It’s kinda creepy, actually — how’d he get so wise at such a young age?

Ramit, CONGRATULATIONS on your book launch — I know how much work goes into a project like that. I bought a copy on Amazon, but will get you to sign it when we next meet up. I’ll order some more next week for gifts. Great job, Braun!

Ramit, it is understandable you’re nervous about the launch of this book. You’ve invested a great deal of energy and hard work into something that could can easily be criticized and torn apart. Writing, painting, photography are all deeply personal pursuits. Nobody wants to be publicly humiliated about something they created to benefit others.

I hope your launch is a great success and your book goes into several printings. You’re a class guy and you deserve it. Way to go.

I’ve been reading you blog for almost half a year now, and have come to really enjoy reading your posts.

However, the new layout makes reading your posts far more difficult. Bring the old layout back to the blog and keep the new layout on the other parts of the site. That, or do something to make your posts more readable.

I’m awaiting the book
But I guess it will take some time till my local online bookstore (bol.com, a Dutch site) will get it. It took them a few days to get Leo’s book as well. (Power of less)
Maybe I can go to the local real bookstore and see if I can pre-order it. I think I’ll try that tomorrow….

Really looking forward to this book.

I have only one question, is this book usable in any economy? or are most things centered around the US economy and how things work over there?
