When Friday Entrepreneurs Go Wrong

Gabe Rosen sends this article from USA Today:

FERN PARK, Fla. (AP) — A 15-year-old boy stole a bus, drove it along a public transit route, picked up passengers and collected fares, authorities said Sunday.

"I drove that bus better than most of the LYNX drivers could," the teen, who is too young to drive legally, told a deputy after he was stopped and arrested. "There isn't a scratch on it. I know how to start it, drive it, lower it, raise it."

I love it. If any of you have similar entrepreneurial ventures, let me know. We can have the world's most popular blog on black-market entrepreneurship. Done!!

Oh, and see other Friday Entrepreneurs here.

When I was young, I ran a business filling out publishers clearinghouse entries for people. Made some decent money for being 8...

When I was a kid a friend an I took his dad's Gold and Silver spray paint then promptly started painting pine cones we found and selling them in a lemon aid type stand. His dad gave us crap for wasting all of his paint.

I sold lemonade on a bike trail near my house. Each cup was 15 cents which guaranteed I made 25 cents or more because I knew bikers don't carry dimes and nickels and usually won't want them back in change. It was great - I sold enough lemonade on three weekends to buy a big trampoline.

I just came across your website and will definitely keep reading! Keep up the good stuff!
