I am glad I made the time to make it to the event. I think the next time around there are a few things that could be improved like a bit more structure and maybe people could email questions before hand so dumb questions wouldn't get asked.
I really agree with what you said at the end of the session about making things easier for people and making the UI better. Approachability & accessibility on the web is under valued in my opinion.
